May 30th Mulva Cultural Center
Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll explore the art of Ebru, the traditional Turkish practice of marbling on water. Guided by artist Vesile Yilmaz, participants will create a one-of-a-kind 21" x 21" silk bandana by floating color on the water’s surface and transferring the design onto silk.
Ebru is known for its flowing patterns, vibrant movement, and element of surprise, making each finished piece truly unique. Along the way, you’ll learn about the history of this centuries-old art form and experience its creative, meditative process firsthand.
No experience is necessary, and all materials are provided. Come ready to get creative and take home your own hand-marbled silk bandana.
From 1:30PM to approximately 4:30PM
